Reporting Procedures

Reporting ProceduresPM Investigations begins work on your assignment within 24 hours of receipt and quicker for rush jobs (there is never an extra fee for rush jobs).  Our goal is to send out a detailed report reviewing the work that has been completed within 2 weeks.  In instances where there is a complicated investigation and it takes longer, we send status updates to keep you apprised.

We typically send only once invoice, at the conclusion of the investigation, to make it easier on your bookkeeping. We can accompany any special billing or reporting requests you may have.

When doing work for law firms that represent insurance companies, we typically send an invoice to the insurance company and a report to the law firm and the insurance company.  Cases are always saved in our custom made software by your file and/or claim number and also include the plaintiff, defendant and date of loss.

When an investigation involves taking photographs, we can send you the pictures digitally, mail you hard copies or both. Whatever fits your firm’s standards. There is no extra charge for sending digital images (there is only a small charge to print the digital images).

Any documents that may be obtained throughout an investigation (such as police reports, witness statements, etc.) can be scanned and e-mailed to you in any format you prefer. Once again there is no extra charge for this service and a hard copy will always be mailed to you.

For surveillance work, you will receive a hard copy of the video work we capture. Additional copies of the video can be had at cost.
